The Ghana Police Service has categorically declared that suspects in the Democracy Hub demonstration case, including Oliver Barker-Vormawor, have not been denied medical treatment.
According to a police statement, two of the suspects, Fanny Otoo and Oliver Barker-Vormawor, were treated immediately at the Police Hospital in Accra after citing health concerns while in prison.
Mr Barker-Vormawor was also transported to the Police Hospital for medical attention after reporting sick late Tuesday night. Doctors evaluated his condition and hospitalized him for treatment.
The Police have stated that at no time have they refused these suspects medical assistance.
