Multiple award-winning rapper Sarkodie has found himself wanting for his continued silence amid the ongoing diverse conversation about the recent #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest and other recent demonstrations.
Known for his popular songs “Inflation” and “Happy Day,” which praise the NPP government for providing free education, the rapper has consistently criticized the John Mahama-led government. However, he has been noticeably silent on social media about what he views as the bad governance of the current administration.
Sarkodie has remained silent during the country’s ongoing rallies against the country’s worsening economic conditions.
The ‘Non-Living Thing’ hitmaker has received backlash from netizens, with many urging him to join the #OccupyJulorbiHouse and #FreetheCitizens campaigns that have gained traction on social media since he spoke out for Nigerians during the EndSars rallies in Lagos during his quiet.
